Jo is trained through the ‘British Wheel of Yoga’ where she continues her studies presently, attaining a Level four Teacher Training Diploma after many years of study. She has also attained essential anatomy and physiology for Yoga. Jo is passionate about yoga and believes it should be accessible to all. Her training through the British Wheel has very much supported Jo in making a lot of the yoga postures and lifestyle more attainable to our western physical structure as well as our environment and hectic lives with a realistic approach. Her aim is to create a safe environment where students can explore their yoga journey at their own pace.
Jo’s class is available to all levels and is perfect for beginners. Jo’s style of yoga is formed on the basis of Hatha yoga, intertwined with some flow and a little hint of Yin. In addition to asana (posture) practice, Jo’s classes include simple Pranayama (breath work) meditation and relaxation. Her aim is to accommodate all levels of abilities, wants and needs through the staging of postures, variation and ultimately making you feel welcome and wanting more from your yoga practice.
