FAQs
Frequently Asked Questions -
I have never done yoga before, will I be ok in your classes?
All of our classes are beginner friendly. Some are more dynamic than others (Tues & Wednesday 6.30pm and Saturday 10am) but all are fine for anyone who is fairly fit and healthy. If you struggle to weight bare or get up from and down to the floor then I also have chair yoga classes which may suit you. Please just get in touch with me if you’d like a chat about your needs.
How hot are your heated classes?
We don’t heat to a specific temperature. Classes are either ‘hot’ or ‘warm’ as noted in each class description. Your experience of the heat will depend on the type of class, how many people are in the room, outside temperature and how much physical exertion you choose for yourself.
Do I need to bring a mat?
We have spare mats here that are free for you to borrow if you don’t have your own.
I am not very flexible or fit, is that ok?
It’s absolutely fine that you are not fit or flexible. We expect to have people of all ages, men and women, of different physical abilities in each of our classes and we provide variations throughout a class so you can individualise your practice in a way that meets you where you are.
What should I wear?
Just wear a vest or T-shirt that doesn't ride up and leggings or shorts.
Is there parking near the studio?
There is street parking all around the studio but please be mindful that it’s a residential area and don’t block driveways or double park where it may cause an issue. There is also free parking at Crosby Leisure Centre, about ten minutes walk away.
Can men attend your classes?
Yes, all of our classes are mixed.
Can I pay per class?
